At Not Your Average Joe’s, Salads are never boring. One of our newest additions to our summer menu includes our Ahi tuna salad where we combined flavor with freshness. Ahi tuna is great for quick meals as it is served rare for best taste. This easy-to-make salad is perfect for dinner parties or for trying new salad options. In making this salad at home you will need:
4 oz Pan seared Ahi Tuna
2 ½ cup Mesclun Mix
2 FL oz Orange Sesame Vinaigrette Dressing
6 Diced Mango Slices
6 Red Grape Tomatoes (cut in halves)
1 FL oz Soy Sauce Marinade
In a large mixing bowl add mesclun mix, orange sesame dressing, mango slices, and tomatoes. Toss for best results. On a separate plate, dip the pan seared tuna into sesame seeds for added flavor. Slice tuna into 8 pieces. Once tuna is coated and sliced, plate tuna on plate with the tossed salad mix and garnish with soy sauce marinade.
