The fall season is officially here and with that brings a lot of pumpkin spice, crisp apple , and warm cider drinks. In honor of fall favorites, we bring to you a spiked twist to a classic drink. This Warm Spiked Cider recipe is tasty, easy to make, and a great fall party staple.
To Get Started…
1 gallon Apple Cider
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/4 cup Orange Juice
3 tbsp Lemon Juice
(Combine & Heat all ingredients in crockpot or pot on stove)
Add 2 medium size Honey Crisp Apples (diced)
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Star Anise
In a separate glass mix together:
2 cups Spiced Rum
1/2 cup Brandy (or Apple Brandy)
Once apple cider mix is heated, add alcohol mix to warm cider mix.
Prepare glass with a dollop of caramel at the bottom of glass, and ladle Fall Cider mix into glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and 2 whole cranberries.
